The Return

"Well, it's in Reks' house isn't it?" she shrugged. "Maybe he did the trick. After all, judging by his family photos, his family was pretty normal back then. I wouldn't think they'd have any use for this book in THAT time, and who else would've came in Reks' house and removed the pages? Well.." she exhaled out the corner of her mouth. "...unless the book naturally came that way...but then why bother publishing it?"


Spade simply listened in, too confused to really say anything.

"Anyway.. Well, Spade, I'm gonna rest a bit. You can go wherever you want but stay in the house, please? I've known you long enough to safely say you're not exactly accident-prone.." she said as she headed out the book room. Maigo stopped and turned her head to look at Vance from the corner of her eye. "Thanks for fixing up the dress, by the way."

She made her way into the parent's room, again diving onto the bed reversed with her feet on the pillows and her head near the end. She sighed, laying on her back she closed her eyes. You just can't get away from things nowadays..maybe Reks knows somethin'..nah.

"Alright then...?" Spade replied, picking up the book about the records of attacks by Vampires and Werewolves. "Whatever. This Reks guy has some strange books!" he said smiling.

"Ya, they are pretty strange... I'm kinda tired, so if you don't mind I will excuse myself for the night." He turned around and left the room. He walked into one of the only remaining rooms in the house, one that seemed to be a guest bedroom, and laid down on the bed. He put his hands behind his head and thought for a moment.

The full moon rises in a day, I'd better be careful tomorrow night. He closed his eyes and let his mind drift to other thoughts.
