The Return

He looked at Vance. "What is wrong with my basement?" He asked getting up, he went to the hanger and put his cloak and hat back on. "I'm going to see what you mean." he said walking down the hall way.

She looked over at Vance and raised an eyebrow. "I guess I might as well head over there, too.." she said, following Reks over to the basement.

"Ya you have a resident werewolf, chained up to the wall." He followed close behind. "He's huge, bigger than any I've ever seen. But hes knocked out right now."

"Tch" He grunted taking out his sword. "Doesn't matter how big he is." He said as he started to walk down the stairs of the basement, he flipped on a light. "He is just going to die like the re-" He stopped mid sentence, he looked at the area where the werewolf was chained. It was over seven feet tall, its fangs were huge but that is not what stopped him. He saw skeletal remains in front of it, all separated.
One skull in each of the three piles, two of the piles looked as if they were adults and the third pile... A child. Rek's eyes opened in shock, realizing who the remains belonged to. His teeth clenched together as his hand gripped the sword so tightly his hand bled, tears began to well down his eyes.
"Yo-ou Bastard..." He growled as he jumped down the flight of stairs. "YOU BASTARD!" He screamed as he drove the sword through the Werewolve's Chest, letting it howl in pain. "I'LL KILL YOU!" He yelled, stabbing it again and again and again.... "DIE.. DIE... DIE.." He yelled as he tore open the already dead wolf.

"REKS! WHAT THE HELL?!" He jumped down and grabbed Reks' arm, halting his assault. "Jeeze he's dead, stop cutting him." Vance drew back his hand, wiping the blood off on the wall. Reks was completed covered in blood and gore from head to toe.

Upon entry into the basement, her eyes already widened and her mouth hung open. Upon seeing Reks' outrageous outburst of rage, a huge lump had appeared in her throat as her entire body went completely numb and she couldn't seem to breathe or move. This wasn't for the unfortunate turn of events for the werewolf, but being surprised at how much she really did understand how Reks felt, and the intensity of the feeling. Her hearing seemed to completely fade as her eyes zoomed in on the scene of Reks and the mutilated werewolf.

This is how she felt when she first met Reks. She wanted him to suffer the same fate as the werewolf.

Rek's fell to his knee's, dropping his sword. He put his hands to his face, his eyes were still wide open, he was on the verge of losing himself. "Mother... father... John.." he whispered looking at the bones. He closed his eyes shut and screamed into the air, lifting his fists and hitting the ground.

Maigo only managed to lift her hand up to her mouth, the tears that had been wanting to fall finally poured down her cheeks as she witnessed the pathetic scene.

"R-...re-.." was all she managed to squeeze out.

"Hey... sorry for yelling at you..." He stood up and held out his hand. "Lets bury their remains alright? It'd be better to give them a proper burial than to let them stay there."

He couldn't hear anything right now, his ears only heard static. He could only hear the sound of his own voice. "They are all gone.. all gone." It was just like before, he had lost them almost a second time. "Everything... gone"

Maigo, finally regaining control of her body, slowly walked over to Reks. "R-..reks..? V-vance is..right.." she said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Come on Reks. It may be hard to accept, bu-" He stopped mid sentence. "His screams. The vampires!" He ran back upstairs, 3 steps at a time. The front door was knocked open and a couple of vampires had come inside and were looking around. Vance slowly closed and locked the basement door. "Dang, why didn't think of it before!"

He felt a motion on his shoulder, he turned his head showing his eyes. He saw Maigo, his eyes wide in shock and pain began to lower. "M-Maigo" He mumbled as his hands somewhat relaxed, his body began to shake. "They... they weren't removed at all..." His lips trembled. "Y-you wanted to kill me right? K-kill me now then."

The vampires checked the door and, finding it locked, started pounding on it. Vance put his whole weight on the door, barring it shut against the unrelenting attack. "Whats he saying? Reks come on man, I really need you now."

"N-..no..!" she said, quickly wiping away the tears that were pouring down her cheeks. "I c-cant kill you!" she said. "Not when I can understand wholly...w-what you're g-going th-through!" she finished, placing both hands on his shoulders. "C'mon Reks...please snap out of it!"

One of the vampires hands pounded through the door and scratched Vance on the face. He took out the Zetsu and shot it through the door, retracting it with the chain. "Gaaah! Jeeze they're persistent!"

Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Rek's, the banging on the door, the yelling. "Vance?" He muttered. He saw a vampire get somewhat through and scratch him. Rek's then slowly got up, picking up his sword. He walked toward the door with his sword up. "Move" he whispered.

Vane side stepped to let Reks past. "You don't need to push yourself man. I could handle it."

Maigo's eyes followed him as he walked towards the door. Despite how wrecked she was feeling, she summoned her rapier in case she had to defend herself.

He walked forward and plunged his sword into the door, he heard at least 6 vampires howl in pain. "Die you worthless monsters" He mumbled. He drew it back, showing mass amount of blood pour through the hole. He then took out his gun with his left and and aimed it at the top of the door. "Go and find hell" he whispered as he shot 6 bullets into the door, hearing more vampires scream in pain.

WORTHLESS MONSTERS? she thought as she winced.

Vance kept shooting the Haru and Zetsu through the door, helping Reks to elminate the vampires. "Dang there's a lot of them!"

He kicked open the door to see four more vampires still in the room. "I bet you were the ones that did that..." He said shooting a bullet in two of them. "You probably put they're bodies there..." He walked forward and cut a lunging vampire in half. He looked at the last one, he looked young. He as shaking in fear. Rek's growled. 'Leave!" He pointed his sword at the young vampire as he ran off out of the house. He turned around walking down the stairs. "They are the ones who did that to them.... feeding them to that thing." He put his sword and gun away, reaching the bottom and went to the bones.

Now it felt as though 1,000 lbs were weighing on Maigo's shoulders. She threw the rapier on the ground, it disappearing, as she walked over to Reks and the bones.

Vance leaned against the wall and took out a rag from his pocket. He cleaned the cut and then wiped the blood off his blades. He walked down the stairs to join the two at the bodies.
